EP partners with NICAS to bring climbing to as many people as possible. NICAS is proud to offer a diverse range for climbing award schemes across over 275 walls in the UK and beyond.
NICAS is a small educational charity based in the UK that offers - award schemes for climbers, creating a clear pathway from indoor climbing to lifelong participation in climbing and mountaineering.
NICAS provides structured learning programs for different types of climbing, including roped climbing, bouldering, and auto-belays, as well as for different ages and abilities.

NICAS Climbing
Introduction to roped climbing, focusing on ropework, safety, communication, and movement techniques, and allowing progression to lead climbing and competitions.
NICAS Bouldering
Learn and improve your bouldering, developing movement skills and problem-solving skills, as well as strength and technique.
NICAS Wild Climbers
This fun game-filled scheme is available for ages 3+. It aims to introduce early years climbers safely into the indoor climbing environment.
NICAS Clip
Introduces climbing fundamentals through autobelays, focusing on movement techniques and essential skills in a fun and safe setting.
NICAS Ascend
NICAS Ascend is a new scheme aimed at disabled and neurodivergent climbers, which allows learners to set custom goals and be recognised for their achievements at the climbing wall.
