At EP Climbing, we believe climbing should be accessible to everyone, regardless of age, background, or ability. That’s why we’re proud to partner with NICAS (National Indoor Climbing Award Scheme) alongside our sister company, Clip ‘n Climb. This collaboration reflects our deep commitment to making climbing a sport that everyone can enjoy, in a structured and supportive environment.
Climbing is more than a sport—it’s a life-changing activity that builds physical strength, coordination, problem-solving skills, and confidence. It fosters perseverance and teamwork, making it an ideal pursuit for young people. Seeing how climbing positively impacts lives is what drives us to keep expanding access to the sport.
This isn’t our first collaboration with NICAS, and we are thrilled to be strengthening our relationship. Developed in partnership with the Clip ‘n Climb team, the NICAS Clip program has already made climbing more accessible in many Clip ‘n Climb centres across the UK, helping introduce more young people to structured climbing experiences. Trainers benefit from dedicated resources, available through an intuitive platform, while climbers and their families can track progress and achievements. It’s incredibly rewarding to see participants grow in confidence and skill through this program.

NICAS is a UK-wide charity offering nationally recognised climbing development programs. Founded in 2008, it provides structured training in a safe and accessible environment, working with over 270 accredited climbing walls across the UK. Designed for all ages and abilities, it combines bold designs, interactive challenges, and auto-belay safety systems to make climbing accessible and exciting. With more than 50 unique challenges, Clip ‘n Climb provides an engaging introduction to climbing while developing essential skills.
