Opening in November 2025, Klimzaal Arsenaal is a modern climbing gym located in Ghent, Belgium, offering 1,200 sqm of climbing surface designed to combine performance, accessibility, and fun.
Alongside its large bouldering and climbing areas, the gym places a strong emphasis on youth engagement, featuring a 335 sqm kids’ climbing area designed to encourage discovery, movement, and enjoyment. This balance between performance and play makes the venue welcoming for climbers of all ages and experience levels.
The kids’ area at Klimzaal Arsenaal is a central feature of the project, thoughtfully designed to create an engaging and immersive climbing environment. One side of the space features a colorful fruit-themed climbing area, while the opposite side includes jungle-themed traverse walls and roped climbing walls equipped with TruBlue auto-belay systems.
The area is further enhanced by 14 Clip ’n Climb challenges (16 climbing lines), offering a playful, safe, and confidence-building introduction to climbing for young climbers.
Klimzaal Arsenaal features an extensive 800 sqm bouldering area, including the TITAN boulder wall, distinctive arched structures, and a Lemur adjustable frame equipped with the Kilter holds system. This combination offers a wide range of movement styles and training possibilities, supporting both progression and performance for climbers of all levels.
Klimzaal Arsenaal is part of the Titan World League, an international challenge connecting climbing gyms around the world through a standardized bouldering wall.
By joining the league, the gym offers its community the opportunity to climb the same problems as climbers worldwide, fostering a shared global experience built around performance, accessibility, and community.
