A World-Class Event in a Dream Location

The 2025 IFSC World Cup in Bali was a landmark event, set against the stunning backdrop of the Peninsula's ocean views. EP was proud to supply the lead and speed climbing walls, along with the holds, reaffirming the durability and performance of our products. These walls, already used in four previous international competitions, continue to perform at the highest level and are ready for more.

Host nation Indonesia, had much to celebrate. Local climbers Kiromal Katibin and Kadek Adi Asih secured bronze medals in the men's and women's speed events, respectively. Kadek's achievement was particularly noteworthy as it marked her debut on the World Cup stage. FPTI President Ibu Yenny Wahid praised the athletes' performances, highlighting Kadek's unexpected success and the team's overall progress.

In the Lead category, Indonesia's athletes have shown remarkable improvement, climbing from a world ranking of around 100 to now being in the global top 20. Ibu Yenny Wahid expressed hope that the Lead category would bring surprises and emphasized the importance of competing without undue pressure, allowing athletes to perform freely and responsibly.

The competition witnessed historic achievements. American climber Sam Watson broke the men’s speed world record twice, clocking 4.67 seconds in the semifinals and 4.64 seconds in the finals—both on an EP speed wall. Already the Olympic record holder, Watson further solidified his place in climbing history with these performances.

Passion, Performance, and Partnership

Set against Bali’s paradisiacal backdrop, the event drew thousands of spectators, creating an electric atmosphere and adding to the spectacle. EP warmly thanks everyone who attended and contributed to the success of this event.

A special thank you goes to all the local and international teams involved in the installation of the walls. Their dedication and expertise ensured the venue met the highest standards.

The competition was also honored by the presence of Mr Olivier Esteves, President of ABEO, whose visit was warmly welcomed by the Indonesian Climbing Federation. His presence underlined the group’s strong commitment to climbing and to supporting the sport’s growth globally.
