Sport climbing competitions at the 2023 Pan American Games in Santiago, Chile was held between October 21 and 24, 2023 at the Cerrillos Park Climbing Walls in Santiago, Chile. The sport has made its Pan American Games debut, after it was added to the sports program in December 2021.

Due to its experience in the Olympic Games, EP Climbing was choosen to build this competitions walls and offer all the necessary guarantees to offer walls at the level required by international events.

The highly anticipated sport climbing competitions at the 2023 Pan American Games in Santiago, Chile, concluded with a spectacular finale, passing the competitive torch forward to the upcoming Paris event. This competition held special significance as it marked the debut of sport climbing in the Pan American Games, a discipline added to the sports program in December 2021. A total of up to 72 athletes competed in four events (the speed and boulder & lead events for men and women).

The Pan American Games Santiago 2023 were crucial and prestigious as it provided the incredible opportunity to enter the Paris Games by granting a total of four coveted Olympic quota places. Gold medallists in the men’s and women’s Boulder & Lead, and men's and women’s Speed events secured a direct ticket to the Olympic Games.

As the 19th edition of the Pan American Games unfolded, the iconic National Stadium witnessed an unprecedented influx of climbing enthusiasts, creating a celebratory atmosphere. Seventy-two athletes hailing from 11 countries, including Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Ecuador, Guatemala, Mexico, Peru, Puerto Rico, Venezuela, and the USA, actively participated. The Climbing Center of Parque Cerrillos, featuring a 15-meter-tall speed wall, a 15-meter-tall lead climbing wall, and a 4.5-meter-high by 18-meter-long bouldering wall - The Titan Boulder, served as the perfect venue which also included IFSC standard warm-up wall. From October 20 to 24th, Santiago became the focal point of climbing excellence, with climbers showcasing their best performances.

EP Climbing, recognized as the exceptional competition climbing wall manufacturer, played a pivotal role in the event's success by being entrusted with the construction of the competition walls. We ensured that the climbing walls not only provided a challenging arena for competition but also adhered to the highest standards of safety and design mandated by international events, especially those of Olympic caliber.

The inclusion of sport climbing in the Pan American Games underscored its burgeoning popularity and recognition within the international sports community. With this impressive inclusion, EP Climbing contributed significantly to solidifying the position of climbing on the global stage.
