An idea can change the world, or even cause a revolution!
Little did François Savigny know this when he invented the first climbing hold in 1983 and proposed the first artificial competition wall in France in 1986. Soon after, his passionate efforts took the shape of an organisation that is known today as EP Climbing (Entre-Prises).
In the last 38 years, we have empowered climbers in more than 30 countries by providing cutting-edge climbing infrastructures, tailor-made by expert designers, and engineers and manufactured in state-of-the-art manufacturing units with the highest precision and finishing.
Invention of the first climbing moveable holds by François Savigny (he sells them through a French mountaineering outdoor shop, “Vieux Campeur”, in Paris)
Establishment of Entre-Prises in Saint Vincent de Mercuze, France
Foundation of Entre-Prises USA
Inauguration of Entre-Prises Artificial Climbing Structure for World Cups in Leeds, UK
Creation of 3D walls (using innovative polyester panels) and Empreinte
