Auto belays must be serviced annually to ensure that your device is operating correctly, maintaining the warranty and complying with safety standards.

How does auto belay maintenance work?

Step 1: Book an auto belay service using the contact form below, selecting 'Head Rush products or maintenance’.
Step 2: Send your device to us. Your auto belay will be serviced within five working days of arriving at the EP Climbing Head Rush Service Centre (don’t forget step 1!)
Step 3: Your TRUBLUE auto belay will go through a 62-point inspection process, examining all internal components and carrying out repairs and/or updates to meet safety standards.
Step 4: The device will be reassembled and cleaned, leaving it looking like new.
Step 5: Our dedicated auto belay maintenance team will test your device with a range of weights to ensure that it is performing safely and correctly.
Step 6: We’ll return your auto belay to you. Then its up to you to remount the device and get ready to climb!

Why should I service my auto belay annually?

All auto belays must undergo maintenance each year to comply with regulations such as Regulation (EU) 2016/425, which requires the annual inspection of personal protective equipment.

A yearly auto belay service is therefore essential and as an official Head Rush Technologies service centre, EP Climbing will assure you that your auto belay device is in correct working condition.
