Project Description

Planet Rock’s newest facility opened in early 2026 following a phased rollout that began with a soft opening in 2025. Developed inside a repurposed warehouse, the large-scale climbing gym combines rope climbing, bouldering, training, fitness, and community spaces under one roof.

The project followed a collaborative build approach that paired EP Climbing’s engineered wall systems with owner-led construction and finishing work. EP Climbing designed, manufactured, and installed the lead and top-rope wall systems, delivering the primary climbing structures built for long-term durability, route-setting flexibility, and consistent use.

At the same time, owner Nick Cocciolone remained closely involved throughout the project, leading construction of the bouldering areas and completing finishing work on the rope walls, including painting and texturing.
