From day one to decades later

It started with a bold idea in 1985 and grew through people, with more than 10,000 worldwide projects today.

Behind every project is an ambition, a vision and a community waiting to take shape.

That’s what drives us at EP Climbing. Whether we’re designing a new climbing wall or remodeling, we put our expertise, energy and passion into making each project unique.

We work closely with our client to ensure that what could be a simple space to climb becomes an opportunity to challenge yourself, meet new people and share unforgettable moments.

These stories are part of our 40-year journey. So, to mark our anniversary last year, we brought together the people, projects and ideas that shaped this journey in a special booklet. If you missed it, copies are still available, including at Vertical Pro 2026.

Book 40 years of history and expertise!

From freeform to Mozaik: A new chapter for campus climbing!

EP Climbing transformed the Boise State university’s climbing facility into new climbing surfaces more flexible, modern and easier to maintain.

The idea? Refreshing the 2000s climbing wall to support students’ needs, security, long-term care and performance.

By replacing the original Freeform surface with Mozaik panels, the university now benefits from expanded lead and top-rope terrain, upgraded bouldering zones and thicker padding, giving students more opportunities to climb and challenge themselves.

Refurbishment: More climbing opportunities, greater accessibility!

EP upgraded Warwick’s climbing facility with Mozaik panels, additional TRUBLUE auto-belays and improved climbing routes, making the space more versatile for climbers.

Originally built in 2019, the wall was refurbished in September 2025. Unused sections were replaced with Mozaik panels, introducing more varied wall angles. Each climbing line now offers the option of rope or auto-belay climbing, giving beginners and experienced climbers more ways to enjoy the facility.

The Warwick’s Sports & Wellness Hub now enjoys a safe, durable and user-friendly climbing space.
