After the success of 2022 dual-textured macros, EP Climbing has collaborated again with shaper Florent BONVARLET to expand our climbing macro range and create new innovative shapes, which we are presenting as Barchan.

Varying in sizes, EP has created 20 new dual textured climbing macros to add amazing variety to your climbing walls.

To broaden these fibreglass macros selection, we've collaborated with Ghold to develop a pack of dual-tex mini holds, the "Mini-Barchan". Crafted in France through this partnership, the 15 mini holds featured in the mini-barchan pack are made 30% from recycled materials, seamlessly integrating with the Barchan range. Tailored for eco-conscious climbers, they offer a sustainable option to enhance your climbing experience.

Expand the Barchan macro range with the addition of the mini barchan, allowing for the creation of routes featuring small and medium-sized holds. Routesetters can use these holds to design routes tailored to climbers of varying skill levels, spanning from beginners to experts. Of course, the mini barchan can be used independently.

Like the wind-blown dunes from which they take their name, our macros are simple and uncluttered, as if drawn by the elements.

This climbing holds range began with an idea, a question. How can we use a common base, in this case an oval, to create maximum diversity, grip, shape and movement?
Like these dunes, similar yet unique.

With these 20 macros and 15 mini-holds, I wanted to offer a series that was both versatile and accessible to everyone, but also demanding and surprising.
Suitable for school walls, clubs and climbing gyms as well as competition events. For beginners and expert climbers.

I wish you to lose yourself in the curves of these dunes, carried by the wind of your imagination.
