The Climbing Mulhouse Center (CMC) has become a focal point for climbing enthusiasts, offering a diverse range of experiences in the heart of Mulhouse. With walls reaching up to 25 meters, the center stands out as the tallest climbing facility in France, providing a unique and challenging environment for climbers of all levels.
One of the key features of CMC is its commitment to providing diverse climbing disciplines. The center caters to enthusiasts of speed climbing, difficulty climbing, and bouldering. The bouldering section, with walls not exceeding 4.50 meters, is accessible to climbers of all levels, making it an ideal starting point for beginners and younger participants. However, CMC emphasizes that bouldering is not exclusive to novices; it is also a discipline embraced by elite climbers who can challenge themselves on unique structures, including a distinctive bear's head.
For those seeking an adrenaline rush, CMC offers speed climbing opportunities. Climbers aim to reach the top of designated routes in the shortest time possible. While traditionally associated with experienced climbers, CMC ensures inclusivity by providing two certified speed climbing routes, encouraging participants of all levels to test their mettle.
As one of the oldest climbing disciplines, difficulty climbing at CMC takes place on walls of varying heights. Climbers wear harnesses and are secured by their partners, creating a challenging yet safe environment. The center proudly presents 25-meter walls, inviting climbers to embrace the challenge and push their limits.
CMC transcends being solely a climbing facility; it's a community hub. The center features a bar, dining space, and an exceptional terrace, all set against the backdrop of an extraordinary industrial heritage site. Additionally, CMC hosts themed evenings, concerts, and challenges, fostering a vibrant community spirit. The center actively collaborates with local partners, including Motoco, Lisbeth, Météor, La reininguette, showcasing a commitment to local engagement.
CMC expands with the exciting addition of the "Bloc Workshop," introducing 700 square meters of new climbing possibilities.
Beyond the "Bloc Workshop," our commitment is also symbolized by the TITAN Wall, a structure certified by the IFSC (International Federation of Sport Climbing). This Olympic-grade wall offers an exceptional climbing experience, aligned with the highest standards of the sport.
Whether you are a beginner or an expert, from the youngest to the most seasoned climbers, our facility remains the ideal place to embark on an unforgettable vertical adventure.
