Two EP Climbing Projects Recognized as Best in Their Categories by PRB+ Magazine

Readers of PRB+ Magazine have spoken, and two of our projects have won top honors in their categories! The Jackson Recreation Center Climbing Gym was voted Best Rec Facility, while Alpenglow Park was named Best Outdoor Rec Project. We’re incredibly proud to be part of these spaces that foster adventure and community engagement.

Best Rec Facility: EP Climbing — Jackson Recreation Center Climbing Gym

The newly remodeled Jackson Recreation Center is now a premier fitness destination, doubling in size with an expanded climbing gym, workout facilities, indoor track, weight room, daycare services, and gymnasium. Local climbers have praised the gym’s design, calling it exactly what the Jackson community needed. The climbing gym has quickly become a symbol of resilience and passion for the sport, offering a welcoming space for climbers to reconnect and plan future adventures.

Best Outdoor Rec Project: EP Climbing — Alpenglow Park

Alpenglow Park in Bend, Oregon, also earned recognition with its EP Climbing-designed boulders. Featuring both natural routes and those with added handholds, the park provides climbing opportunities for all ages and abilities. The addition of accessible routes ensures the sport is open to climbers of all abilities, further promoting inclusivity in this growing recreational activity.
